The George Washington LARK & Virginia Catherine THOMPSON Family moved to Parkton, Maryland  from this home about 1928.  

The following deed was made June 15, 1928 between G.W. Lark and Jennie Lark for the property at Gravel Lick Road (above).   The deed was not filed until September 9, 1929 at the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Russell County, VA.   Recorded in Deed Book Number 79, Page 185.   

The deed was given to me (August 2009) by Earl Clark who received it from Toy Lark.
